Contest promoting Sam Calagione’s book includees $10,000 prize
Wiley Publishing has launched a contest to promote the paperback release of Dogfish Head Brewery founder Sam Calagione’s “Brewing Up a Business.”
Contestants must first create a video pitch and post it at YouTube by Jan. 3. Ten finalists will then submit a business plan while their videos are posted at the What Brew Are You? site. The grand prize winner will be chosen based upon votes received from site visitors, the quality of the business plan, the pitch itself and creativity.
The proposal does not have to be brewing related, but it must incorporate specific principles from “Brewing Up a Business.”
Complete contest rules are at the What Brew Are You?. Among the other features is a “What brew are you?” quiz, where visitors answer a series of questions and Calagione tells them which Dogfish Head beer they most resemble.
