Brewing hiatus

As you’ve probably noticed, Shepody Brewery is not brewing (or posting) as often as it was. That’s because we’ve recently moved locations to a larger premises. The brewing equipment has been packed up into one large box and two Coleman coolers (one of them our MLT). So it’s sitting unused in the basement of 30 Odessa Cove. We still have to construct a new workbench (aka fermentation table) and wire in a 240V line into the brewing area. After my father-in-law has finished constructing his new TV/entertainment unit, maybe he’ll have some time to help me do the construction of the new brewery. Stay tuned for more details.

We’ve also decided that once we get back on our brewing feet that we’ll be concentrating on making flavourful Belgian ales over the winter. Yummy!!

About Mike

I'm the head brewmaster at Shepody Brewery. I'm the one who chooses the recipes, orders supplies, does all the grunt work, and drinks most of the product.
